Faeq hassan
Born in Baghdad in 1914. Graduated from the (Beaux Arts), Paris in 1938. Founded the Painting Department at the Fine Arts Institute in 1939-1940. Founded the Pioneers Group (or S.P) in 1950. He participated in its exhibitions until 1967 when he joined in founding the Corner Group and participated in its first exhibition. Took part in the Friends of Art Society in 1943 and 1946. Participated in the Avicenna Exhibition in Baghdad in 1952. Organized a number of one - man exhibitions in Baghdad, in 1962-1967 and 1971. Participated in most national exhibitions outside Iraq. Joined nine artists in the Iraq Art Exhibition in Beirut in 1965. Member of the Iraqi Artists Society।
فائق حسن ولد في بغداد عام 1914. تخرج من البوزار عام 1938. أسس فرع الرسم في معهد الفنون الجميلة عام (1939_1940) أسس جماعة الرواد عام 1950 وشارك في معارضها حتى عام 1967 حيث ساهم في تأسيس جماعة الزاوية وشارك في معرضها الاول. شارك في معرض جمعية اصدقاء الفن عام 1943 و1946. شارك في معرض ابن سينا الذي اقيم في بغداد عام 1952. اقام معارض شخصية في بغداد عام 1962 و1967 و 1971 شارك في جميع المعارض الوطنية خارج العراق . شارك مع تسعة فنانين في اقامة معرض للفن العراقي في بيروت عام 1965. عضو جمعية الفنانين العراقيين .
